1. Principle: no tracking cookies

This website does not set tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies as a matter of principle. No cross-site tracking and no advertising profiling takes place.

2. Technically necessary local storage

To enable certain areas of the website to function, we use your browser's local storage (localStorage):

• caching of the AI checklist so that your entries are not lost (remains locally on your device)
• where applicable, storage of your language preference

This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to us unless you expressly submit a form.

3. Cookieless first-party reach measurement

For statistical reach measurement we operate a self-hosted first-party analytics system on our server in the EU. This first-party beacon sets no cookies whatsoever and – because it works without cookies and without permanent re-identification – is always active as a technically and security-related necessary function. No third-party analytics service is used and no cross-site tracking takes place. A raw IP address is not stored; it is used only briefly to form a daily-rotating, irreversible session hash (SHA-256). The "Do Not Track" (DNT) and "Global Privacy Control" (GPC) signals are respected. Details of the data categories collected can be found in the Privacy Policy (section 9).

4. Managing and deleting browser storage

You can view and delete the data stored in local storage (localStorage) at any time via your browser settings. As a rule, you will find the relevant function under "Privacy", "Clear browsing data" or "Site data". Deletion may cause cached entries (e.g. in the AI checklist) to be lost.

The German-language version prevails. In the event of discrepancies between the German and the English version, the German version takes precedence. These texts do not constitute individual legal advice.
